summer

Woah, I just found these pictures. These need to get posted for sure, so we can get to 5 whole posts for the year. Quick captions below.

From the State Fair.

Visiting Craig and Lisa
And we got to see Mike and Arlene too!
We rode the Willamette Queen.
Spent time with cousins at Grandma Hurliman's house. No one was shocked by the electric fence. Notice how tall Isaac looks in this picture. No wonder he doesn't even listen to us when we tell him he had better eat or he won't grow. He's probably thinking - well, I am already one of the tallest kids in my class. If I eat anymore I might be too tall.
Who knows what he is thinking really? Anyway he has also gotten better at trying new foods this year.
This was so cute - Isaac and Louisa were dancing in the living room there. Louisa is 3 months older than Isaac, if you remember.
We also went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. A personal goal of mine (to bring the kids) since they were born. Check that off the list.

And, we spent time down at the beach too!

We got to spend some time outside at home, but honestly not as much as past summers. It was a really hot summer.
Here was Sonia playing with these letters. Note how she sorted them by color and somewhat by shape :).
Hm. Here are more from visiting Craig and Lisa. Not sure why they are separate.

Um, and some more from the state fair. Not sure why these are all separated, but here you go! :)

Christmas 2015

Here are some memories from Christmas! Everyone all dressed up for Christmas Eve Mass.

Then later that evening we unwrapped some presents. London actually went to sleep early so we only had the kids unwrap three each (there were way too many presents this year!) on Christmas Eve.

Isaac was so excited to get the Lego set he wanted so badly, and Sonia really had fun with her dress up doll. You can change its clothes all the time. That's what Sonia does to herself all the time anyway, so I think this will be a good outlet.

Then on Christmas Day, the girls went to the beach with me. Isaac wanted to stay and build his Lego set.

He missed out though! It was a beautiful day at the beach (although it became a little chilly after a while).

Look at these girls. They don't run. They fly.

And here is one last picture from Grandma Joanne's house on Christmas Day. Sonia and London made a fun game up with the stool and jumping off the stool and chasing each other.

Here's to a happier New Year! Maybe I'll post more than 4 times next year! Maybe.... or maybe not...

Trip to Sandpoint, Idaho

Wow, this is an official photo dump. Out of 309 pictures, I present roughly 10%, or 32 pictures.

The kids in the Life Flight helicopter. Hopefully this is the only time they will ever be in it.
Isaac lost his second tooth! On August 5th. This time he did not swallow it and he put it under his pillow. The tooth fairy gave him $1.
Now the rest of the pictures are of our trip to Sandpoint, Idaho. It was kind of for Taj's wedding, but technically only Nana and Boompa were invited to the the actual wedding. We crashed the pancake breakfast the next morning and besides we had lots of fun on and around the lake.
Getting ready to go on the pontoon boat.
On the pontoon boat, on Lake Pend Oreille.

Auntie Anna wanted to jump in with Sonia.
This is how Sonia felt about that.
Of course Boomps and I did what we do best. Eat the snacks.

 Beautiful Nana.
We took turns riding on the inner tube/flotation thing. It was fun!

The next morning we went to church.
Then, we crashed the pancake breakfast. The kids played in the sand and water.

We went to a family festival to meet up with some other cousins later in the day.

Nana got some pictures of London and Pinja. They are just about the same size with their cute blonde hair!

On the way back there was a beautiful sunset on the Columbia River Gorge! We got out and took some pictures.

I love a good family vacation!
